Growing up, I learned to see the world differently - navigating hearing loss, an adventurous spirit, and a restless curiosity that just wouldn’t quit. I set out to chase meaning and connection across continents, and along the way, I faced more than my share of missed flights, hospital beds, visa nightmares, and moments that were both heartbreaking and hilarious.

But through it all, I discovered the power of kindness, the importance of saying “hello,” and the courage it takes to be real in a world obsessed with appearances. This book is about resilience, laughter, and the quiet triumphs that come from daring to live - and daring to be yourself.
